CHALLENGE #26 and Introducing our New DT Member!

Challenge #26

is all about

TOILE AND TICKING
(Your creation must contain both 'Toile AND Ticking')
What's this you might ask???

Here's a wonderful site we found that will help answer your questions.
or look to the Shabby Design Team projects.

You might find this in fabric, or paper...

Another question you might raise is ...

'I dont have any?'

You can also find Toile and Ticking and print off the computer like a couple of our DT have done.

Toile and Ticking is beautifully historically French and fabulously Shabby!

Toile is a distinct elegant pattern used in various shades and Ticking is a stripe – usually a double stripe or uneven spaced stripe…

This is what the Shabby Girls created...

AND
INTRODUCING OUR NEWEST DT MEMBER!
after winning two challenges one after the other
and with amazing beauty and detail we just knew Magda
would make a wonderful Shabby Girl!

A little about Magda:

Hello!
My name is Magda and I am from Poland. I love crafting, reading, jazz music and spending time with my little daughter, Lena. I have been scrapping a few months (since December 2010) and I enjoy every minute of my hobby. Through scrapbooking I am trying to be creative. I would say I tend to scrap romantinc and shabby with a little touch of vintage. My style of scrapbooking is very eclectic, somethimes shabby chic and romantic, sometimes vintage, but I always include lots of layers and details.
I look forward to challenging myself as well as inspiring you.
I am so proud and honoured to be a part of Let's Get Shabby Design Team. Thank you!

A bit about Jane:

Jane is the proud mum of five adult children. She is the owner of the store Seriously Scrapbooking and is design team leader for Imaginarium Designs. She is also on the Graphic 45 design team. Jane teaches any where from 6-12 classes a month in her store. She regularly travels interstate to teach master classes to other store owners and teachers. She was one of the teachers at the Scrapbooking and papercraft expo held in Brisbane in June. Her work as been published in Australia, and the USA.

Imaginarium Designs was created in late 2010 in Adelaide as we saw a need for some unique designs in the industry!

Chipboard is such an amazing medium to work with on Scrapbooking pages, projects, cards and so much more.

Our designers are everyday scrapbookers and card makers who design Chipboard specifically for everyday projects and we make sure that every design is perfect! We have an international design team, so make sure you visit our blog for some more inspiration.
