TUTORIAL TIME

This month
Sasya
is going to show us the steps she took to make this stunning brooch she has attached to her bag.

Materials.

Different ribbons (one of them which is used for the base should be thick, I'll call it 'base ribbon'), vintage buttons/details/ornaments/beads etc and one pin for the brooch's back.

Take the base ribbons and start to make the circle (you can use sewing machine but i think it is better to sew by hand)

Here is the base for the future brooch.

Now take another ribbon to make the border.

Cut the rest of the ribbon off.
Start to decorate your brooch. You can use ribbons of different colors.

I also used the Prima flower, little white rose.

Many vintage details...

Add the pin to the back of your brooch. Here is another one.

Use the brooch for your scrap projects or simply decorate your bag or clothes with it! Enjoy!

These are just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing Sasya.

Don't forget to pop in and check out challenge 19 and our sponsor Scrap Matrix.
