OH MY EARS AND WHISKERS!!!

Dodo suddenly called out
`The race is over!'
and they all crowded round it, panting, and asking,
But who has won?'
(Chapter Three; Alice in Wonderland)
-------------------------
We had so much delight reading the quotes on your creations!
And what glorious creations they were!!!
-------------------------
'The first thing I've got to do,'
said Alice to herself, as she wandered about in the wood,
`Is to grow to my right size again;
And the second thing is to find my way into that lovely garden.
I think that will be the best plan.'
(Chapter four)
----------------------------------------
And what beautiful gardens we found!!!
With a variety of five or more flowers and
the relevance of the quote,
it's time to announce our WINNER and show the parade of HONORABLE MENTIONS!!
It was a very very close race!!..

IT'S TIME FOR........

Another Shabby Tutorial

This month Timea is sharing with us just how she did the background on her Alice project.
We just love the texture she has created behind the tree.

Here is what you will need

1. Ingredients........

Cardboard
Paint ( I used: Home Deco 3D paint, but you can use acrylics too)
Brush
Foil (folpack or glad wrap)
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist

And now for the how to.....

2. Add the paints onto the cardboard and spread it with a brush.

3. Cover with the foil.

4. Spread the paint through the foil more and crease to form the detail.

5. Take off the foil before dry and put aside cardboard to dry the paint totally.

6. Spray it with Glimmer mist.

7. Let it dry and it's ready to be used as a base for your next project.

This tutorial appeared in a Hungarian free e-magazine called Scrapbookozz velünk
2009. II/6

Thanks for sharing this with us all Timea.

How are you all going with your Gardens?
We can't wait to see what you do for the challenge and have some awesome entries in already.
