INTRODUCING OUR NEW DESIGN TEAM MEMBERS
the first projects from our three new team members
along with their Challenge #28 creation:
My style is many styles if any. I love to make cards with nothing but coloured images. I prefer my beloved Promarkers to colour with, but also use Distress Inks.
And in addition, I love just as much to make vintage cards and altered items. As often as possible I try to challenge myself to make something I've never done before. This hobby is really one kind I always learn new stuff along the way, mostly learning by doing and of course visiting everyone in blog land and also love to share tips and ideas/tutorials with everyone.
Jan
(England)
My name is Jan, and I am from Essex, England.
I’m obsessed with all things arty and creative. I like to experiment and dabble in lots of different crafts….. Drawing, painting, cardmaking, scrap-booking, sewing, atc’s, rubber-stamping and I also enjoy altering items…matchboxes, dresses, tins, canvasses and anything else that I can get my crafty hands on! I also like to try out different styles, but I find, I'm usually drawn to shabby and vintage.
Proud to be a mum to three wonderful sons and a fur-baby called Barney…and that’s where the scrapbooking comes in, I’ve been scrapping for over a year now, sorting through my millions (OK, zillions) of photographs, primarily of my three boys 'growing up' over the last 21years!! And having fun putting some wonderful memories into some scrapbook pages, I just adore lots of layers, coordinating the colours and oodles of lovely details in my work.
Christiane
(France)
My name is Christiane and live in France. I am married, have two grown children, two grandchildren, and have a little shi-tzu really very lovely. I scrapbook with lots of Love and Tenderness everything about my life and my childhood .. I was a kindergarten teacher 35 yrs ago. I retired in September 2005 and immediately made a Shabby page. Its my favourite style.
I love the corrugated cardboard, paint, ink, tear my papers, ribbons, string, all tissues sewing, and flowers of course. I really like "Lets Get shabby", the DT and the respect for scrapbookers who participate.
