Here's a little about Deb
(who is also a regular to the challenges here at Let's Get Shabby, has been a Winner and multiple times been in the Honorable Mention Parade!)

I'm Deb.........a wife, a mum and a grandmum. My 2 gorgeous little grand-daughters are usually the focus of my scrapping but I do love the "older" more "heritage" photos as well. I am fascinated by some of these older photos of days gone by........so precious.
I've been scrapping for over 10 years now and like most of us, couldn't imagine not having this wonderful craft in my life. Over the years I have tried my hand at most crafts but they seem to have taken a back-seat now since I started scrapbooking.
I never have the answer when someone asks me what my style is. Is it eclectic, is it shabby, is it vintage, possibly a little grungy?....I'm not sure but I do know I tend to make a lot of mess . I love distressing, playing with paint and using random bits and pieces (sometimes bits of left overs on my scrap table find their own little spot on my layouts). I also love the pretties.....the lace and the doilies.

The Prize Winner will also receive this gorgeous RAK from Julie

Looking forward to seeing your wonderful creations!
(Remember to check the rules on the left bar)

Give some time and the DT will be uploading their close-ups and details on their blogs!

Happy Scrapping!

IT'S TIME FOR....

Another shabby tutorial!

Yes this month, as it is nearly Easter, we thought we would share with you two ways to decorate eggs.

Last week it was Sasya showed us her little eggs,
and today Lene will be sharing with us how she created her gorgeous egg.

Here is what you will need: White acrylic paint
glue
brush
white napkins
paper mache eggs

Step One Cover the eggs in lots of glue.

Step Two Take the napkins and cover the eggs
 - not straight - let it be lumpy and bumpy in shabby style.

Step Three Let it dry a little bit before you paint it with white acrylic paint.

Step Four If you want to - spray on a bit of glimmermist (I have used some GOLD glimmermist) and now decorate it with flowers and bling and everything else you want.

There are still a few days left to join in on our latest challenge  and check out our latest sponsor.

From all of us Shabby Girls,

We wish you a safe and happy Easter

IT'S TIME FOR.....

Another Shabby Tutorial .....

And seeing as we have Easter nearly upon us,
Sasya has shared how she made these gorgeous little eggs.

And as it turns out,
Sasya did up her bunnies before being ask if she could create a tutorial of them for us,
and seeing as she didn't have photos of the process she decided to draw it up.

How cute are her little drawings!!
(If you are having trouble reading the instructions if you click on the picture it should come up bigger)
